FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(CLEVELAND, OH)- ComputerJobs.com has been added to the growing JobServe USA group, previously comprised of CareerBoard.com and Computerwork.com. The acquisition brings JobServe's worldwide presence to over 70,000 job postings and 160 staff members.
JobServe USA Ltd's CEO and President, Peter Tuttle, is pleased about the acquisition, "We are looking forward to the addition of such a successful company to our expanding group. ComputerJobs.com is a very well run organization with an established strong brand. They are currently the second largest IT job site in the US, and are also past winners of the prestigious WEDDLE's User's Choice Award." ComputerJobs.com is UK based JobServe's third American purchase this year, following the May acquisitions of CareerBoard.com, a network of local recruitment sites for local talent and Computerwork the third largest IT specialist.
JobServe founder and Managing Director Robbie Cowling said, "JobServe is looking to grow our share of the US market and I'm extremely excited by the fact that we've been able to acquire ComputerJobs.com. With the CareerBoard and Computerwork job sites performing incredibly well in their own sectors it's given us the desire to push further into the US market."
ComputerJob's founding team of Mike and Nancy Gilfillan will continue to run the company, with no immediate changes planned to the branding, pricing, products, or systems.
JobServe, formed in 1993, cut its teeth providing a service for IT contractors looking for contract work but quickly grew into one of the UK's most successful businesses offering jobs across many sectors of the market. The company has continued to grow worldwide with the acquisition of Australian job board JOBNET in 2002, and United States' sites CareerBoard and Computerwork in 2006.
