About the position :

Our Collectors notify or locates debtors with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment according to client guidelines and in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (F.D.C.P.A.)



The Qualified Candidate will have:

  • Solid work experience
    • Sales
      • Mortgage Sales
      • Insurance Sales
    • Account Receivable Collections
    • Tele-marketing
    • Customer Service – call center
  • Auto dial or direct dial system
  • Strong communication skills – at all levels
  • Must have solid negotiation skills
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Must have 1 year of uninterrupted work experience and regular/timely attendance
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies

Bonus Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish Call Center experience

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. (WWR) was founded in 1930 as Gardner & Spilka, a practice that focused on assisting local banks with recovering debt. In the mid-1950s, Maurice Weltman became a partner and the firm name changed to Gardner, Spilka and Weltman. With the addition of Maurice's son Robert, the firm continued to grow the creditors’ rights practice. In 1979 the firm became Weltman, Weinberg & Associates Co., L.P.A., recognizing the contributions made by Alan Weinberg. Our current name of Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A., was adopted in 1994 to acknowledge the efforts of Allen Reis in developing the Columbus, Ohio office. Today, WWR is one of the leaders in the Creditors' Rights industry.
