Berger Health System currently has an opportunity for a customer-service focused individual to work as a Patient Registrar in our fast paced hospital registration department. Selected individual will be primarily responsible for registering outpatient and Emergency Department patients. Position is also responsible for telephone service for Berger Hospital, including screening and referring incoming calls, serving as a message center for hospital, physicians, nurses and patients. Selected individual will also be responsible to properly respond to any emergency situation such as fire alarms and emergency codes.

Minimum Qualifications Include: High school level of knowledge. Must have a clear speaking voice, and be able to work multiple assignments. Must be able to work accurately and calmly under pressure. Prior hospital experience in a registration or scheduling department is preferred.
